Current Quarterly Spotlight
The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission (CVRM) has been a beacon of hope since its inception in 1971, evolving from a soup kitchen and night shelter into a comprehensive support system for the community. Located on a secure 3.5-acre campus, CVRM currently provides shelter and services to over 320 clients daily, including men, women, and children facing homelessness, unemployment, and various crises. With a commitment to self-sufficiency, our programs include health care services, job training, and personal development classes, empowering individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the upcoming new Women’s and Children’s Shelter II, set to open in August 2025. This vital expansion will add 10 additional beds and provide essential facilities, including a kitchen and playground, to create a safe, nurturing environment for vulnerable populations.

Socktober Sock Drive
Dates: Entire month of October
Toy Drive and Giveaway
Dates: Starts the first week of November 4th and runs until December 11th.
Details: All children must be present to receive gifts during the giveaway.
Volunteer Opportunities: Toy Sorting and Event Setup:
- December 16: 10:00 AM
- December 17: 8:00 AM
- December 18: 8:00 AM
